Smart fish farm monitoring in Vietnam by controlling water quality in ponds and tanks

Vietnam is one of the main worldwide fish producers and exporters. Its annual fish production export value is 1.7 billion USD. With this valuable export product it’s im-portant for wholesalers to establish tough control measures on the quality of fish and farming conditions.

The aim of this project is to real-time monitor different parameters to control water quality and prevent certain diseases that could affect fish quality and quantity of production. Sensors were deployed in the source of water supply and inside the fish farm. Water and fish quality are controlled by the following parameters, temperature, conductivity, dissolved oxygen (DO), Oxidation-Reduction Potential (ORP) and pH levels.
