At this year’s Civil Contractors New Zealand (CCNZ) Awards, Adroit’s Guy Macpherson served as a judge in the Innovation category lending his keen eye and expertise to three awards: Onsite Management, Sustainability and Product Development.
Now in his fourth year on the judging panel, Guy noted how the standard of entries continues to rise — from onsite management to sustainability and product development. He praised the innovators who bring purpose, creativity, and genuine passion to their work, helping to drive the civil construction sector forward.

Water New Zealand Conference — Proven Tech on Show
Adroit and Spark once again joined the country’s largest water industry event, the Water New Zealand Conference & Expo. The team presented their growing suite of environmental monitoring solutions — including flood and water quality networks now operating with regional councils nationwide.
The 2025 event showed a clear maturity in the technology and in Adroit’s role within it. With strong conversations across councils and industry, the company also launched a new initiative offering a 12-month free flood-monitoring trial for councils yet to adopt the technology — a practical way to encourage hands-on experience with proven tools.
Beyond the stand, it was an opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces and build new partnerships, reinforcing Adroit’s commitment to collaboration and the collective improvement of water management across New Zealand.
ALGIM Conference — Connecting Data and Decision-Making
Rounding out a full calendar of events, Adroit will also attend the ALGIM Annual Conference, taking place at Takina in Wellington this November.
ALGIM brings together local government leaders, ICT professionals, and technology providers to explore how data, digital transformation, and information management are shaping the future of councils across New Zealand.
This year’s ALGIM theme, “Exploring the Possibilities,” sets the tone for a packed programme of workshops, innovation showcases, and hackathons designed to spark new ideas across ICT, data, customer experience, and smart-community design.
